Final Results

TUSCALOOSA, Ala.- The Kennesaw State track and field teams set two school records and won two events at the Crimson Tide Invitational on Saturday inside Sam Bailey Stadium.
 
School Records

• Edwin Kiprono took home the school record in the 1500m with a time of 3:44.27 finishing fourth.
• The Owls 4x400m relay team of Jadyn Bolden, Emma Sullivan, Britney Chatfield and Samiya Wayne set the school record with a time of 3:40.73 to place third.

 
Event Winners

• Emma Sullivan won the women's 800m with a time of 2:03.51.
• Jeremiah Sims won the 110m hurdles in a time of 13.70 seconds!

 
Men's Notable Performances

• Lloyd Hill (7.21m | 23'8") and Kaelen Mitchell (7.18m | 23'6.75") placed fifth and seventh in the long jump.
• Mohamed Diaby ran a time of 13.95 seconds to finish fifth in the 110m hurdles.
• Justin Warner ran a time of 46.77 seconds to place fourth in the 400m.
• Simon Seid cleared the bar at 5.25m (17'2.75") to finish runner-up in the pole vault.
• Xavier Paris (10.54 seconds) placed 10^th in the 100m.

 
Women's Notable Performances

• Akerah Jones posted a time of 13.88 seconds to take home seventh in the 110m hurdles.
• The women's 4x100m relay team of Kenadie Singleton, Samiya Wayne, Aminah Jabbie and Salima Jabbie ran a time of 45.01 seconds to place third.
• Madigan Wallace (10:20.25") took home fourth in the 3K steeplechase.
• Kenadie Singleton crossed the finish line in a time of 11.87 seconds to secure eighth in the 100m.
• Natalie Cummings (2:09.36) grabbed seventh in the 800m.
• Samiya Wayne ran 23.78 seconds to place fifth in the 200m.
• Emma Fergusson (4:19.51), Madison Seiler (4;27.88) and . Akshana (4:28.43) took home second, seventh and ninth in the 1500m.
