KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State track and field teams began action at the Don McGarey Invitational on Friday.
Eight Owls competed at the Raleigh Relays on Thursday and Friday.

Men: 69 points (first place)
Women: 59 points (second place)
School Record (Don McGarey Invitational)
- Kali Terza landed a personal-best toss of 64.68m ( 212'2") to win the hammer throw.
School Records (Raleigh Relays)
- Brian Limo ran a time of 29:10.35 to set the school record in the 10K.
- Edwin Kiprono posted a time of 3:48.05 in the men's 1500m.
- Madison Seiler ran a personal-best time of 10:18.05 to place 10th in 3K steeplechase!
Event Winners
- Kaelen Mitchell won the men's long jump with a leap of 7.44m (24'5").
- Chance Cross ran a time of 20.58 seconds to win the 200m. That time is one of the fastest times in the country this season.

- Eriana Sanford placed fourth in the hammer throw with a toss of 55.98m (183'8").
- Sanford would also place fourth in the discus with a mark of 44.03m (144'5.00").
- Rachel Swain landed a leap of 5.93m (19'5.50") to finish second in the long jump.
- Samiya Wayne (23.93) placed fifth in the 200m.
- London White (1:02.87) and Amelia Coker (1:03.09) placed fourth and fifth in the 400m hurdles
The Owls will conclude competition at the Don McGarey Invitational on Saturday, March 29. 21 seniors will honored at 12.
