MARIETTA, Ga. – No. 19/25 Georgia Tech (21-4, 7-2 ACC) defeated Kennesaw State (10-15, 2-1 CUSA) in the home Tuesday midweek with a final of 15-4.
How It Happened
Tech started the fight with a solo home run with two outs in the first.
The right came right away from KSU as
Nate Anderson mashed a 402-foot big fly, marking his fourth homer of the season.
Three runs were scored by the Jackets in the top of the second inning.
In the bottom of the fourth inning, Cash stung a double over the left fielder's head, bringing home
Nate Anderson from first base. Chirello laced a double into the right-center alley, bringing Cash around home and cutting the lead to the disadvantage of 5-3.
A Grand slam for Georgia Tech in the sixth inning made it a 9-3 game. The Yellow Jackets poured on nine runs in the inning, creating a 14-3 game.
Kaden Brown entered the game as a pinch hitter in the home half a posted one RBI via the sacrifice fly.
In the seventh, GT added on another run and defeated the Owls 15-4 via run rule.

- Jackson Chirello nabbed two doubles on the day.
