GREENSBORO, Ga. – The Kennesaw State men's golf team opened play at the Linger Longer Invitational at the Landing Course at Reynolds Lake Oconee on Sunday.
The Owls carded a 5-over par round of 293 and are in a tie for 10
th. No. 17 Alabama leads the 16-team field at 17-under 271 after the opening round.
Luca Galinganni paced the Owls on a Sunday with a round of 2-under par 70. The freshman rolled in four birdies and 12 pars during the round.
Kyle Bachkosky carded an even- par 70 and is tied for 33
rd.
Claes Borregaard is tied for 45
th after a 1-over 73 in round one.
Hunter Gillard is tied for 78
th after a 4-over par 78 in the opening round.
Joshua Todd (81) is tied for 91
st.
Playing as an individual,
Reed Sweigart shot 86 is in 94th.
The Owls are set to tee off in round two of the Linger Longer Invitational at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, March 17.
