LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. – Against a tough field out in Arizona, Kennesaw State women's golf sits 11
th overall after the first day at the Clover Cup on Monday afternoon
The Owls posted a 33-over par score of 313 at the Wigwam Resort.
Scorecard
Jackie Jang led the pack with a consistent day that led to a 6-over par 76. She was one of three Owls to birdie the first hole, while also turning in a birdie on 14 to sit 42
nd individually.
Right behind her was
Sabrina Kim, who birdied twice on the front nine to sit 48
th individually with an 8-over 78.
Alessandra Nagayo finished on her teammates' heels at 9-over to place 52
nd, while
Nyah Kelly carded a 10-over par 80 after birdying holes 3 and 18.
Rounding out the Owls' performances was
Natasha Korman, who turned in a 12-over par 82 to sit 63
rd overall, while
Ladina Luder shot 10-over par as an individual, placing 58
th.
Tee Time
Kennesaw State will be back out on Tuesday, March 11 for 18 more holes in Round 2. The Owls first tee time is at 10:16 a.m. ET.
