Final Results
LYNCHBURG, Va. - The Kennesaw State men's and women's track and field teams completed competition at the Conference USA Indoor Championships on Saturday in historic fashion.
The KSU men's team collected its first Conference USA Indoor Track and Field Championship scoring 154 points in the two-day meet. The men became the first KSU program to win a Conference USA title since joining the league July 1, 2024. The Owls also ended the Liberty men's run of 27-consecutive indoor titles at the Division 1 level.
Cale McDaniel was named CUSA Men's Coach of the Year.
The KSU women battled hard on Saturday and finished in second place. The Owls finished with 117 points.

Men's Heptathlon (Through four events)
- Sean Dyer (4532 points) finished in sixth place in his first collegiate heptathlon.

- Kenadie Singleton (7.38 seconds) in the 60m.
- Chance Cross (6.61 seconds) in the 60m.
- Edwin Kiprono (1:51.54) in the 800m.
- Yasmine Martin, Emma Sullivan, Samiya Wayne, and Kenadie Singleton (3:42.18) in the 4x400m.
Men's Medal Winners
- Justin Campbell won the gold medal in the men's triple jump with a mark of 15.58m (51'1.75").
- Chance Cross set a school, CUSA championship and facility record with a time of 6.61 seconds in the 60m to earn the gold medal.
- Freshman Evan Martinez won the shot put with a toss of 16.95m (55'7.75").
- Collins Kipkemboi posted a time of 8:11.19 to win the 3K.
- A time of 47.18 seconds earned Eric Young II the silver medal in the 400m.
- Edwin Kiprono was the bronze medalist in the 800m in a time of 1:51.74.
- Keondre Glover earned six key points with a third-place finish in the high jump with a leap of 2.02m (6'7.5").
- The men's 4x400m relay team of Trey Geter, Cameron Johnson, Christin Johnson and Justin Warner ran 3:11.92 to secure the silver medal.
Women's Medal Winners
- Emma Sullivan set a facility and CUSA meet record with a time of 2:03.83 to win the distance medley relay.
- . Akshana took home the bronze medal in the mile run at time of 4:45.52.
- A school record time of 7.38 seconds earned Kenadie Singleton the bronze in the 60m.
- Victoria Joyce landed a leap of 12.51m (41'0.5") to secure the silver medal in the triple jump.
Men's Notable Performances
- Cameron Guadiano (7.98 seconds) finished sixth in the 60m hurdles.
- Trey Geter (21.74 seconds) and Eric Young II (45.24 seconds) finished seventh and eighth in the 200m final.
- Brian Limo ran a time of 8:15.87 to place seventh in the 3K.
- Tevon Shuler (15.16m | 49'8.75") and Lloyd Hill (15.10m | 49'6.25") took home fifth and sixth in the long jump.
- Freshman Braden Garrison landed a mark of 16.01m (52'6.25") to place eighth in the shot put.
- Kenyata Bennett cleared the bar at 1.97m (6'5.5") to grab fifth in the high jump.
Women's Notable Performances
- Natalie Cummings (4:48.33) placed fourth in the one-mile run.
- Akerah Jones (8.41 seconds), Alina Harris (8.58 seconds) and London White (8.67 seconds) placed fourth, seventh and eighth in the 60m hurdles.
- Samiya Wayne (7.52 seconds) placed sixth in the 60m.
- Wayne tied her school record with a time of 24.02 seconds securing fourth in the 200m.
- . Akshana (2:12.92) finished eighth in the 800m.
- Madison Seiler (9:39.67) took home a sixth-place finish in the 3K.
- Yasmine Martin, Emma Sullivan, Samiya Wayne, and Kenadie Singleton ran 3:42.18 in the 4x400m to set a school record and finish fourth.
- Eriana Sanford landed a toss 14.16m (46'5") to take home fifth in the shot put.
- Kaylee Brown (1.69m | 5.6.5") and Mollie Speights (1.64m | 5.4.5") secured fifth and eighth in the high jump.
- Kaylan McConnehead landed a leap of 12.17m (39'11") to place fifth in the triple jump.

Next Up
Individuals who finish in the top-16 nationally in their specific event or top 12 in relay at the end of the indoor season will head to Virginia Beach, Va. to compete in the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships March 9-10. The Owls open their outdoor season on March 21-22 at the Georgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta.
