Behind the Service Line
The Kennesaw State women's tennis team travels to Florida for a pair of matches against Mimi and North Florida. The Owls return to Kennesaw on Sunday, Feb. 16 to take on South Carolina State for their Epilepsy Awareness Match. The Owls will wear purple shirts and wristbands on Sunday. Wristbands and free pizza will be available for fans.

Series History
Wednesday's match against Miami will be the first between the two programs.
KSU and UNF will meet for the 31
st time on Friday. UNF leads the series 28-2. KSU picked up a 4-3 win at UNF on Mar. 13, 2024. It marked KSU's first win over the Ospreys since becoming a Division I program.
Sunday's home match against South Carolina State will be the third meeting of the two programs. KSU leads the series 2-0. KSU defeated SCSU 4-1 in Kennesaw on Feb. 26, 2023.
Scouting Miami
The Hurricanes were 13-8 overall and 8-4 in the Atlantic Coast Conference last season (ACC). Miami is 0-4 this season. They fell 4-3 to No. 25 FIU on Sunday, Feb. 9.
Scouting UNF
The Ospreys were 12-10 overall and 7-3 in ASUN Conference play in 2024. They are off to a 1-3 start this season.
Scouting South Carolina State
The Bulldogs were 16-5 last season. They were 6-0 in MEAC Conference Play. SCSU is 1-3 overall in 2025.
Last Time Out (at South Alabama)
Ema Baraniakova and
Sofia Madrid picked up a 6-2 win in doubles. The Owls two straight set singles match wins from
Ema Barnaiakova (7-6, 6-3) and
Laura Nadaska (7-6, 6-2).
Sofia Madrid won by retirement in the second set.
The Jaguars won the doubles point and three singles matches to secure the win.
Next Up:
The Owls will host Mercer on Thursday, Feb. 20 at 11 a.m. on the Betty Siegel Courts.
