HUMACAO, PUERTO RICO - The Kennesaw State men's golf team is in third place at the Palmas Del Mar Collegiate through two rounds and holes 11-12 completed of round three on Monday in at Palmas Del Mar Flamboyan.
Round three was scheduled to be played on Tuesday (Feb. 11) but was begun on Monday due to inclement weather that is forecasted in Humacao Tuesday.
KSU posted a 6-under round of 282 in round two and is 1-under through 12 holes in the final round.
Claes Borregaard is in second place. The senior made five birdies, one eagle and nine pars in round two in route to second consecutive round of 3-under par 69. He is 2-under through 12 holes in round three. He is currently 8-under par for the tournament.
Luca Gallingani is in 18
th place at 1-under par through 12 holes of round three. He carded a 1-under par 71 in round two and is 2-under par in the final round.
Shaun Cook fired an even-par round of 72 in the second round. He is 1-over through 12 holes of his final round. The junior is in 34
th place at 1-over par.
Hunter Gillard birdied two of his final seven holes to post a 2-under 70 in round two. He is two over through 11 holes of round three. The sophomore is in 41
st at 2-over par.
Joshua Todd recorded a 3-over 75 in round two and is 3-over through 11 holes in round three. He is 54
th at 7-over par.
Playing as an individual, Kyle Bachosky in 34
th place at 2-over par. After a 4-over par 76 in round two, the junior is 6-under par through 10 holes in the final round.
The Owls will close out the Palmas Del Mar Collegiate on Tuesday (Feb. 11) at 7:00 a.m. EST.
