Jones was the premier position player on the Atlanta Braves of the 1990s and 2000s when they made 11 straight postseason appearances and won the 1995 World Series.
That year, Jones was the Braves' starting third baseman and hit out of the No. 3 hole. Four years later, Jones won the National League Most Valuable Player Award after hitting a career-high 45 home runs.
He played 19 years in the big leagues and totaled 2,726 hits, 468 home runs and more walks (1,512) than strikeouts (1,409). He was named to eight All-Star Games and finished in the Top 10 of the NL MVP voting five times. His 468 home runs are the most ever by a National League switch hitter.
When he retired, Jones' 1,623 RBI were the most of any player whose primary position was third base. Jones was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2018.
Seats are available for $200 per person and private tables (eight-person max) are available for $1,400. All prices reflected are not inclusive of taxes and fees.
The dress code that presides is business casual. Doors will open at NorthStar Church's Compass Auditorium with social time and a meet-and-greet with Jones to begin the night's proceedings from 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.
The event will also feature a silent auction filled with Kennesaw State keepsakes, MLB memorabilia, and much more. All proceeds of the auction and the event will benefit the KSU baseball team.
