Owls Set to Finish Fall Season at Wofford Invite

KENNESAW, Ga. - The Kennesaw State women's tennis team concludes their fall tournament schedule this weekend at the Wofford Invite. Matches are set to start on Friday morning. The tournament concludes on Sunday.
 
Ema Baraniakova, Terezia Baraniakova, Sofia Madrid, Izabelle Persson, Che Nel, Maria Ivankovic and Irene Serrano are scheduled to play in singles and doubles.
 
Ins and Outs of Fall Season
Fall tennis consists of individual tournaments, while the team matches occur only in the spring. The Owls will compete in several individual tournaments this fall, including the Mercer Gridiron Classic, Georgia Southern Fall Shootout, ITA Southeast Regional, Stetson Invite II and Wofford Invite.

Tournament Format
There will be compass draws of eight players – right now, there are 7 singles draws and 4 doubles draws.
 
Friday (11 AM start) – 1 doubles and 1 singles
Saturday (9 AM start) – 2 doubles and 1 singles
Sunday (8:30 AM start) – 1 singles
 
 
Next Up
The Kennesaw State women's tennis team will prepare for the dual-match season which begins Jan. 23 at Indiana.
