Kennesaw State Announces 2025-26 Track and Field Schedule

KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State director of track and field Cale McDaniel announced the Owls' 2025-26 indoor and outdoor schedule on Thursday.
 
"Man, this is going to be a fun year for the KSU track and field team," McDaniel said. "I believe there are so many opportunities for us to test ourselves and see how we stack up against the nation's best teams and athletes."
 
The Owls will host the Don McGarey Invitational on March 27-28.
 
"We hope everyone in Kennesaw takes some time to come cheer on the Owls this March as we defend the nest against some great programs," McDaniel said.
 
Indoor Season
 
KSU opens the indoor campaign at the Clemson Opener on Dec. 5 and the Sharon Colyear Danville Season Opener on Dec. 6. The Owls then head to Nashville for the Vanderbilt Invitational and to Birmingham for the Samford Invite on Jan. 16-17.
 
Kennesaw State will compete at the Orange and Purple Invitational at Clemson on Jan. 23-24. The following weekend (Jan. 30-31), the Owls will split squads between the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational in Louisville, Kentucky, and the John Thomas Terrier Classic in Boston.
 
KSU will take part in two meets on Feb. 13-14, competing at both the Tiger Paw Invitational at Clemson and the Music City Challenge at Vanderbilt.
 
The Conference USA Indoor Championships are set for Feb. 27-28 in Lynchburg, Virginia, while the USATF Indoor Championships will be held Feb. 28–March 1 in Staten Island, New York. The NCAA Indoor Championships are scheduled for March 13-14 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
 
Outdoor Season
 
The outdoor slate begins with the Yellow Jacket Invitational at Georgia Tech on March 20-21. KSU distance runners will compete at the Raleigh Relays at NC State on March 26, followed by the Owls hosting the Don McGarey Invitational on March 27-28.
 
April competition begins with the Florida Relays in Gainesville, Florida, on April 3-4. KSU's combined events group will compete at the Duke Invitational, while the throwers head to Oklahoma for the Throws Town Invitational. The Owls return to Atlanta for the Georgia Tech Invitational on April 17-18 and will wrap up the month at the Penn Relays on April 24-26.
 
KSU closes out the outdoor regular season at the East Coast Relays in Jacksonville, Florida, and the Jim Green Invitational in Lexington, Kentucky, on May 1-2. Select athletes will compete at the Emory Last Chance Meet on May 6.
 
The Conference USA Outdoor Championships are set for May 14-16 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, hosted by Middle Tennessee State. The NCAA East Regional Championships are scheduled for May 27-30 at the University of Kentucky, and the NCAA Outdoor Championships will take place June 10-13 at the University of Oregon.
 
The USATF Outdoor Championships are slated for late July, with dates and location to be announced.
