DELAND, Fla. – The Kennesaw State women's tennis team collected several victories at the Stetson Invite II this past weekend at the Mandy Stoll Tennis Center.
Friday's action began with doubles wins from Ema Baraniakova and Maria Ivankovic (6-4), along with Izabelle Persson and Irene Serrano (7-5) against Embry-Riddle.
In singles play, Baraniakova (6-0, 6-2), Sofia Madrid (6-0, 6-4), Ivankovic (6-4, 6-3), Terezia Baraniakova (6-4, 6-3) and Serrano (6-1, 6-7, 10-3) each earned victories over Embry-Riddle opponents.
Saturday's competition opened with Madrid and Persson earning a doubles win. In singles, Baraniakova (5-7, 7-5, 10-5) and Madrid (6-0, 6-4) both secured victories.
On Sunday, the Owls picked up doubles wins from Baraniakova and Ivankovic (6-3), and Madrid and Persson (6-1).
In singles, Madrid (6-0, 6-2), Persson (6-4, 6-1), Ivankovic (6-3, 5-7, 10-8), Terezia Baraniakova (6-0, 6-0) and Serrano (6-0, 6-3) all notched wins over Murray State.
