KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State softball head coach
Selena Collins-Patterson revealed the program's 2026 schedule on Thursday, her first leading the Owls.
The Black and Gold will face five Power Four teams and seven 2025 NCAA Regional qualifiers this season.
KSU begins its campaign in North Carolina at the UNCW Tournament from Feb. 6-8. The first game will be App State at 11 a.m. with the first-ever meeting against George Washington concluding opening day. The Owls play another doubleheader on Saturday versus the Mountaineers and tournament hosts UNCW. The Black and Gold face GW again before returning to Georgia.
Back in the Peach State, the Owls will head down I-75 on Feb. 10 to face Georgia Tech. That weekend, Feb. 14-15, they travel up to South Carolina for the Carolina Classic. There, KSU will face UC Riverside, reigning Patriot League champion Boston University, Louisville and the Gamecocks.
Sandwiched in between the Troy Tournament (Feb. 20-22) and the Texas A&M Tournament (Feb. 27-March 1) is the Black and Gold's home opener against Chattanooga on Feb. 25. They will play a home-and-home with the Mocs this season, playing in Tennessee on March 17.
Conference USA play begins on March 6-8 with a three-game series against Middle Tennessee. Road contests at Georgia State on March 10 and new CUSA foe Missouri State (March 13-15) follow.
Bailey Park hosts seven straight contests with two series versus Sam Houston (March 20-22) and UTEP (March 27-29) and a midweek against Troy on March 25.
April opens with a series at FIU (April 3-5) followed by a game at 2025 College World Series participant, Tennessee, on April 8. The conference series and SEC midweek repeats the following week, this time in The Saw, as the Owls host Jax State (April 10-12) and Georgia (April 15).
The next two weekends see KSU hit the road against Delaware from April 17-19 and Western Kentucky from April 24-26. The Owls will host Georgia State on April 21 for their final nonconference game.
The regular season concludes with the reigning CUSA champion, Liberty, at home on April 30-May 2.
The 2026 CUSA Tournament is scheduled for May 5-9 in Newark, Del.
