KENNESAW, Ga. — Kennesaw State men's tennis made program history Wednesday with the signing of Juan Parrilla, a five-star recruit from Decatur High School (Decatur, Ga.) and native of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Parrilla will join the Owls in August 2026, becoming the first five-star signee in program history, according to TennisRecruiting.net.
Parrilla is currently ranked No. 57 nationally and No. 5 in Georgia by TennisRecruiting.net. His accomplishments include winning a USTA Winter National Gold Ball in doubles and compiling an impressive 43–19 record against ranked opponents.
"I couldn't be more excited about Juan joining the Owl family today," associate head coach
Simon Pritchard said. "Juan plays with intensity and passion, and I can't wait to see that in action on the KSU courts. Today is an especially great day to be an Owl!"
Born in Buenos Aires, Parrilla moved to Georgia to pursue his tennis career and has become one of the state's top junior players. His blend of international experience and high-level competition makes him one of the most decorated recruits in KSU tennis history.
