Head Coach Adam Bray
On the Men's Team
"Congrats to Collins and Brian for both finishing in the top five in a highly competitive meet. Overall, I thought the entire men's team took a big step forward this morning. They have trained hard over the course of the past three weeks and I'm sure their legs were a little tired coming into this meet. For all of them as individuals to put forth the maximum effort is what I was looking for from a coaching perspective. Our men continue to get better each week, and it is a great thing to see!"
On the Women's Team
"This was the first meet win for our women in a very long time. We strategically entered this race knowing it was the race distance we felt best set us up for success down the road. I challenged the team to go out and compete to win over running fast times. Quite frankly, timing cross country meets has become a detriment to the sport over the past few years. Our ladies competed in warm conditions and perfected their strategy throughout their race. They deserve this win and they know this is just another step in our journey. "
Overall
"This was a great business trip for our program and now we are in the best part of the Fall season. Racing takes priority now."
