KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State sophomore Collins Kipkemboi was named the Conference USA Men's Athlete of the Week for his performance at the Crimson Classic, the league announced Tuesday.

Kipkemboi placed third in the 8.057K race with a time of 23:19.7.

It marks the third CUSA Athlete of the Week honor for Kipkemboi this season. Competing in a strong field, he finished ahead of runners from Auburn, Alabama, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, Memphis and others, helping lead the Owls to a seventh-place team finish.
