Tournament Information and Results 

KENNESAW, Ga. - The Kennesaw State women's tennis team continue their fall schedule this weekend at the ITA Mercer Gridiron Classic tournament. Matches are set to start Friday Oct. 3 and finish play Sunday Oct. 5
 
Ema Baraniakova, Terezia Baraniakova, and Laura Nadaska, Sofia Madrid, Izabelle Persson, Che Nel, Maria Ivankovic, Irene Serrano are scheduled to play in their first fall tournament.
 
Ins and Outs of Fall Season
Fall tennis consists of individual tournaments, while the team matches occur only in the spring. The Owls will compete in several individual tournaments this fall, including the Mercer Gridiron Classic, ITA Southeast Regional, Wofford Invite, and Georgia Southern Fall Shootout. .

Tournament Format
The ITA Mercer Gridiron Classic tournament format features several singles matches (3 full sets, main Draw) and doubles competition (6 game set; tiebreak at 6-all) against the opposing teams. At the end of each round, the winners continue in their tournament in the same direction, while the losers move to other points on the compass to form a new satellite tournament.
 
Match Schedule
Friday- One round of doubles followed by two rounds of singles
Saturday- Two rounds of doubles followed by one round of singles
Sunday- One round of doubles followed by one round of singles
