KENNESAW, Ga. - The Kennesaw State women's tennis team travels to the ITA Southeast Regional Championships, beginning on Thursday at the USTA National Campus in Orlando.

Irene Serrano are scheduled to play in singles and doubles in the tournament.
On the Line
The five-day tournament features a minimum of 64 singles participants in the qualifying round and a minimum of 64 individuals in the Main Draw. Doubles will feature a qualifying round of 32 teams, followed by a minimum of 32 pairs in the Main Draw. From this, the two singles finalists from each of the 13 regions will qualify for the NCAA Singles Championship. Meanwhile, the doubles champion from each region will qualify for the NCAA Doubles Championship. The 2025 NCAA Singles and Doubles Tennis Championships will be held November 18-23 at the USTA National Campus.
Ins and Outs of Fall Season
Fall tennis consists of individual tournaments, while the team matches occur only in the spring. The Owls will compete in several individual tournaments this fall, including the Mercer Gridiron Classic, Georgia Southern Fall Shootout, ITA Southeast Regional, and Wofford Invite.

Tournament Format
Matches will begin promptly at 9 a.m. and will consist of doubles and singles play throughout the tournament. Players qualify into different groups allowing them to advance within their bracket.

-Thursday, Oct. 16 – Qualifying Draw –2 rounds of singles
-Friday, Oct. 17 – Main Draw – Doubles round of 64, Singles rounds of 64
-Saturday, Oct. 18 – Main Draw – Doubles round 32, Singles rounds of 32 and 16, Consolation
-Sunday, Oct. 19 – Main Draw – Singles quarterfinals, Doubles rounds of 16 and quarterfinals
-Monday, Oct. 20 – Main Draw – Singles and Doubles Semifinals
-Tuesday, Oct. 21 – Main Draw – Singles and Doubles Finals
