Kenadie Singleton collected Conference USA Track and Freshman Athlete of the Week honors for their performances at the Mark Colligan Memorial, the conference announced Tuesday.
Diaby was named CUSA Men's Track Athlete of the Week. The sophomore won the 200m in a time of 21.85 seconds. That time ranks tied for 12
th in CUSA this season. He ran times of 7.93 seconds (prelims) and 8.01 seconds (finals) to finish third in the 60m hurdles.
Singleton earned the CUSA Women's Track Athlete of the Week award. The sophomore won the 60m in a personal-best time of 7.49 seconds. That time ranks second in CUSA this season. She finished second in the 200m with a time of 25.29 seconds.
Akshana was named ASUN Women's Freshman of the Week. She finished third in the mile in a time of 4:50.49. That time ranks fourth in the ASUN this season.
Nine KSU distance runners will race at the John Thomas Terrier Invite in Boston and the rest of the squad will compete at the Bob Pollock Invite on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1.
