KENNESAW, Ga. - Kennesaw State baseball's highly touted recruiting class was honored by Perfect Game on Friday, getting named the top class in Conference USA and the 44th-strongest recruiting class overall.

The Black and Gold are one of just three CUSA teams in the top 100, with the nearest squad being FIU at 51st. The program also ranks well in the state of Georgia, ranking well above in-state rivals Georgia Southern (76), Georgia State (71) and Mercer (57). Kennesaw State is slated ahead of 15 Power Four teams, including Ohio State, Michigan, Duke and UCLA. To view the full list, click here.

Perfect Game listed three Owls in its "Top 500 Fresh Arrivals on Campus," with Tyler Bayer (210), Nolan McKinstry (423) and Ethan Osada (471) making the list. Bayer hails from South Forsyth High School (Cumming, Ga.), McKinstry played at South Paulding (Hiram, Ga.) and Osada pitched a River Ridge (Woodstock, Ga.). To view the full list, click here.
