Final Results
DELAND, Fla. – Five members of the Kennesaw State women's tennis team competed in the Stetson Invite on Friday and Saturday.
The Owls competed in doubles and singles matches against players from Stetson, Louisiana and Chattanooga.
The Owls were led in singles action by
Ema Baraniakova and
Sophia Unger who both finished 2-0. Baraniakova had wins of 6-2, 6-2. Unger won by scores of 6-1, 2-6, 10-7 and 6-0, 6-4.
Izabelle Persson and
Laura Nadaska went 2-0 in doubles picking up 7-5 and 6-1 victories.
"This was a good first fall weekend, Director of Tennis
Matt Emery said. The women competed well all weekend came away with strong results against good competition. We are excited to keep building next weekend at Georgia Southern."

The Owls will play in the Georgia Southern Shootout in Statesboro on Sept. 27 – 29.
