KENNESAW, Ga. - Four
Owls landed on the softball CSC All-District Team the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.
Caroline Shumeyko
Shumeyko earned a 3.92 GPA in her junior season as she pursues a degree in english education. The UTL infielder collected a career high 13 RBI and played in all 53 games this season.
Madison Miller
Miller tallied a 3.95 GPA as she pursues a major in criminal justice with minors in sociology and criminology. The junior finished second on the team in multi-hit games with 10 and finished with two outfield assists from left field.
Kiera Cooper
The senior scored a 3.75 GPA as she graduated with a major in psychology and a minor in sociology. The outfielder ripped 11 doubles this year, good for top five in the ASUN. She also appeared in all 53 games for the Owls this season.
Melanie Bennett
Bennett posted a 3.64 GPA with a degree in elementry education. The graduate registered the lowest ERA on the squad with a 3.09 while holding opponents to just a .245 batting average.
