JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Kennesaw State track and field teams began competition at the East Coast Relays at Visit Jax Track at Hodges Stadium on Friday.
 
Men's Top Performances

• Grant Crabtree ran a personal-best time of 3:50.68 to finish sixth in the 1500m.
• Zachary Peterson landed toss of 60.36m (198'0") to finish fourth in the hammer throw.
• Keondre Glover cleared 2.00m (6'06.75") to finish 10^th in the high jump.
• Stephen Smith cleared the bar at 4.67m (15'3.75") to take fourth in the open pole vault.
• Simon Seid finished second in the invite pole vault with a clearance of 5.27m (17'3.50"). That mark ranks tied for third in program history.
•  Caleb Hartley landed a toss of 17.00m (55'9.25") to finish fourth in the shot put.

Women's Top Performances

• Amelia Coker ran a personal-best time of 1:02.42 to finish eighth in the 400m hurdles.
• Emma Fergusson (4:29.85) and Madigan Wallace (4:30.82) took home third and seventh in the 1500m.
• Madison Seiler ran a season-best time of 10:36.96 to finish second in the 3k steeplechase.
• Rache Dodsworth (17:56.02) finished seventh in the 5k.
• Ciara Miles (17:08.96) and Zoe Smith (17:29.91) finished sixth and eighth in the women's 5k Invite.
• Hannah Judge secured eighth in the hammer throw with a toss of 53.66m (176'0).
• Kaylee Brown cleared 1.66m (5.05.25") to finish sixth in the high jump.

 
The Owls will conclude action at the East Coast Relays on Saturday, April 28.
