ATLANTA – Kennesaw State baseball suffered a non-conference defeat on the road Tuesday night. The Atlantic Coast Conference's Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets emerged with a 13-2 victory in seven innings at Mac Nease Park.
The Owls (22-17) mustered their two runs off five hits. Senior Nick Hassan had a multi-hit evening with his fifth homer of the year. Isaac Bouton produced an RBI in the sixth for KSU's last run of the evening.
GT (25-14), coming off a weekend series win at No.10 Virginia, chased KSU starter Brayden Eidson (0-3) in the first with seven runs across Eidson and Halton Hardy, while its starter Camron Hill (3-0) worked through five frames.
KSU remains on the road for a weekend series at Atlantic Sun foe Bellarmine. The action beings Friday at 3 p.m. in Louisville.
