DOTHAN, Ala. – The Kennesaw State men's golf team is in seventh place after the second round of 2024 Atlantic Sun Men's Golf Championship at the RTJ Golf Trail at Highland Oaks.
The Owls carded an 8-over par 296 and are at 15-over par 591 through 36 holes. Lipscomb leads the 12-team field at 6-under par 570.
Claes Borregaard paced the Owls on Monday with 2-under par round of 70. It was his 16
th round at par or better this season. The junior is tied for ninth at 1-over par 145. He made 12 pars and two birdies during the second round.
Kyle Bachkosky made pars on seven of his final nine holes to post a 3-over par round of 75. He is tied for 15
th at 3-over par 147.
Shaun Cook made birdies on two of his final four holes to record a 3-over par 75. He is tied for 26
th at 4-over par 148.
Hugo Lari shot 78 and is tied for 30
th at 9-over par 153.
Hunter Gillard (80) is tied for 58
th.
The Owls will play the final round of ASUN Men's Golf Championship on Tuesday, Apr. 23 at 9:50 a.m. ET. KSU will be paired with Jacksonville and Queens in round three.
