KENNESAW, Ga.-  The Kennesaw State women's tennis team is set to open the ASUN conference tournament against No. 5 Austin Peay  on Friday, April 19 at the FGCU Tennis Complex. The Owls are entering the tournament as the fourth seed, coming off a 2-0 weekend record winning against Queens and Eastern Kentucky.

Series History vs. Austin Peay
Friday's match will be the sixth meeting between the two teams. The Owls last competed against the Governor's earlier this month, in which Kennesaw State suffered a 6-1 loss. Austin Peay broke the tie in the all-time series, putting them ahead 3-2.
 
Scouting Austin Peay
The Governor's are 11-8 overall and 7-3 in the ASUN conference. Austin Peay enters having lost 6-1 at Lipscomb on Sunday in their final match of the regular season. 
 
ASUN Tournament Format
The 2024 ASUN Conference Women's Tennis Championship will begin on Friday, April 19 and conclude Sunday, April 21 from the FGCU Tennis Complex. This year's event features two quarterfinals (Friday at 9 a.m.) and two semifinal matches (Saturday at 9 a.m.). The final match is scheduled to stream live on ESPN+ at 9 a.m. on Sunday.
