DELAND, Fla. - The Kennesaw State men's tennis team picked up a 4-3 victory over Stetson at the Mandy Stoll Tennis Center on Thursday evening.
KSU (9-5, 2-2 ASUN) captured the doubles point and three singles matches to secure its fourth consecutive win over the Hatters.
The Owls picked up victories on court one and three to secure the point.
Mikolaj Lis and
Hugo Salmeron downed Eder Blanco and Ervin Haris Eminefendic by a score of 6-4 on court three.
Harvey Conway and
Raul Garcia secured the point with a 6-4 victory over Marc Saura and Juan Jose Rodriguez Garceran on court one.
Raul Garcia got the Owls on the board first in singles action. Garcia defeated Lucas Olivier 6-0, 6-1 to put the Owls up 2-0.
Hugo Salmeron slipped past Sami Ozzor 6-4, 6-2 on court five to push the lead to 3-0. Stetson would respond with a pair of wins to cut the lead to 3-2.
Seru Tezuka clinched the victory for KSU with a 6-3, 5-7, 6-2 win on court six.
The Owls head to Fort Myers, Fla. to face FGCU on Saturday, Mar. 30
