KENNESAW, Ga - The Kennesaw State women's tennis team remains undefeated in the ASUN conference after taking down Lipscomb by a score of 4-3 on Sunday afternoon. The Owls are now 4-0 in the ASUN making this season the best conference start in school history.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Owls secured the doubles point with wins on courts one and three. Ema Barianakova and
Taylor Dean defeated Mariia Dolzhenko and Sofiia Paladi 6-2 on court 1. Sohpia Unger and
Ivana Gresova defeated Deborah Dominguez Collado and Anja Trbeznik (LU) 6-4 on court 3.
Kennesaw State prevailed in the singles competition obtaining three wins over Lipscomb.
Izabelle Persson gained the second point for the Owls, defeating Sonia Pieczynska 6-2, 6-1. Following in pursuit with the third point was
Sophia Unger, who defeated Mariia Dolzhenko 6-1, 6-2.
Laura Nadaska clinched the match taking down Deborah Dominguez Collado (LU) 5-7, 6-1, 6-2 on court six.
