MATCH PREVIEW
The Kennesaw State men's tennis team is preparing for a pair of home matches this weekend. The Owls are taking on North Alabama (Friday) and Lipscomb (Sunday).
SCOUTING NORTH ALABAMA
The Lions are currently 10-5 and 1-1 in the ASUN conference. The Lions collected a 4-3 win over FGCU on Sunday.
This will be the fourth meeting between the two teams. The Lions have yet to take down the Owls as Kennesaw State leads the all-time series 3-0.
T-shrts will be handed out to fans in attendance.
SCOUTING LIPSCOMB
The Bisons are holding a 6-9 and 0-2 record in the ASUN conference. The team is coming off a 5-2 loss against Stetson.
Sunday's match will be the 15th meeting between the two teams. The last match took place in the 2021-22 season where the Owls swept the Bisons 7-0.
The Owls will wear purple shirts and wristbands honoring those battling Epilepsy. KSU tennis Epilepsy awareness wristbands will be handed out to those in attendence.
LAST TIME OUT (vs. North Florida)
The Kennesaw State men's tennis team fell 6-1 at North Florida on Sunday afternoon.
The Ospreys won the doubles point and five singles matches in route to victory.
The Owls win came from
Sam Baldwin who defeated Juan Pablo Cenoz 7-6, 3-6, 10-8 on court five.
NEXT UP
The Owls will continue ASUN competition traveling to DeLand, Fla. to face Stetson on Thursday, Mar. 28 at 5 p.m.
