Final Results
EATONTON, Ga. – The Kennesaw State men's golf team finished play at the Linger Longer Invitational at Great Waters Golf Club at Reynolds Lake Oconee on Tuesday.
The Owls carded a 9-over par round of 297 and finished seventh at 10-over par 874. No. 16 Alabama won the event with a tournament-record team score of 40-under par 140. The seventh place finished by KSU was its best since 2018 in this event.
Shaun Cook made five birdies and nine pars to post a 1-under round of 71. He finished tied for 16
th at 4-under par 212. He finished the 54-hole event with 34 pars, 11 birdies and an eagle.
Claes Borregaard made three birdies on his final nine holes to card an even-par round of 72. He finished tied 34
th at 1-over par 217.
Hugo Lari shot 78 and finished tied for 46
th at 5-over par 221.
Kyle Bachkosky posted a 4-over 76 and tied for 61
st at 11-over par 227.
Hunter Gillard tied for 64
th at 12-over par 228 after a 78 on Tuesday.
Playing as an individual,
Joshua Todd tied with Gillard for 64
th at 228 overall.
