Round Two Results | Final Round Live Scoring
EATONTON, Ga. – The Kennesaw State men's golf team continued play with round two at the Linger Longer Invitational at Great Waters Golf Club at Reynolds Lake Oconee on Monday.
"The team responded today and fought back with an under-par round which moved us up five places," head coach
Bryant Odom said. "Shaun kept his scorecard clean of bogeys and made a significant improvement with a 66 to lead us. We are looking forward to the final round and competing with some elite programs."
The Owls posted a 4-under par round of 284 and are in sixth place at 1-over par 577 through 36 holes. No. 16 Alabama leads the 14-team field at 37-under 539.
Shaun Cook led the Owls on Monday with a round of 6-under par 66. Cook s 66 was the low round of the day. Cook made an eagle, four birdies and 11 pars during his round. The sophomore has made 25 pars through his opening 36 holes. He is tied for 17
th at 3-under par 141.
Hugo Lari birdied three of his final four holes to post a 2-over 74. He is tied for 32
nd at 1-under par 143.
Claes Borregaard finished with birdies on three of his final five holes to record a 2-under par 70. The junior is tied for 41
st at 1-over par 145.
Hunter Gillard shot 74 and tied for 61
st at 6-over par 150.
Playing as an individual,
Joshua Todd is tied for 72
nd at 9-over par 153.
The Owls will conclude play with the final round of the Linger Longer Invitational on Tuesday, March 19
th. KSU will be paired with UNCG and Georgia Tech with tee times from 9:57 a.m. to 10:33 a.m. of the first hole.
