EATONTON, Ga. – The Kennesaw State men's golf team opened play at the Linger Longer Invitational at Great Waters Golf Club at Reynolds Lake Oconee on Sunday.
The Owls carded a 5-over par round of 293 and are in 11
th. No. 16 Alabama leads the 14-team field at 21-under 267 after the opening round.
Hugo Lari paced the Owls on a Sunday with a round of 3-under par 69. Lari rolled in five birdies and 11 pars during the round.
Kyle Bachkosky carded a 2-over par 74 and is tied for 52
nd.
Claes Borregaard and
Shaun Cook both posted rounds of 75 and are tied for 62
nd.
Hunter Gillard is tied 68
th after a 4-over par 76 in the opening round.
Playing as an individual,
Joshua Todd shot 76 is in 91
st.
The Owls are set to tee off in round two of the Linger Longer Invitational at 9:15 a.m. on Monday, March 18.
