KENNESAW, Ga. – Raul Garcia was named ASUN Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.
 
Garcia went 1-1 in doubles and 2-1 in singles on court one against UTSA, Incarnate Word and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. The senior picked up a 7-6, 6-2 win over Tomas Reche of UIW in singles to help the Owls secure a 5-2 victory. On Sunday, he and Harvey Conway collected a 6-1 win over Avery Zavala / Etienne Marty of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. He later beat Avery Zavala 6-0, 6-0 on court one in the Owls 4-0 win. Garcia is 6-3 in singles and 5-2 in doubles this season.
 
The No. 73 Owls open ASUN Conference play on Sunday, March 17 at North Florida. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
