AUBURN, Ala. – The Kennesaw State men's golf team opened play at the Tiger Invitational at the Auburn University Club on Monday.
The Owls shot a 20-over par 308 in the opening round. Play began in the second round and the Owls had finished 14-15 holes before it was suspended due to darkness. KSU was tied for seventh when play was halted for the day. The second round is scheduled to resume at 10 a.m. ET on Tuesday, Mar. 12 with the final round beginning after the conclusion of round two.
Hugo Lari led the Owls with a 1-over round of 73 in round one. He made an eagle, three birdies and eight pars in his opening round. He is 4-over through 14 holes in his second round.
Claes Borregaard made 13 pars and posted a 3-over 75 in the opening round. He is 2-over par through 15 holes of his second round.
Shaun Cook carded a 5-over par 77 in round one and is even par through 15 holes in round two.
Hunter Gillard and
Joshua Todd both opened with rounds of 83. Gillard is 3-over par in round two through 15 holes.
The Owls will finish play at the Tiger Invitational on Tuesday, March 12 at 10 a.m. ET.
