The Lead
RICHMOND, Ky. - Kennesaw State (10-13, 6-4 Atlantic Sun Conference) looks to keep momentum rolling against the Eastern Kentucky Colonels (17-7, 6-4 ASUN) inside Baptist Health Arena Saturday afternoon following the team's highest-scoring game of the season Thursday at Bellarmine.
KSU defeated the Knights, 85-75, on Feb. 8 behind a combined 50 points from Carly Hooks and Prencis Harden. It marked the Owls' second-straight win and the most points scored in an ASUN road victory for KSU since Feb. 18, 2006.
Harden leads the Black and Gold with an ASUN-best eight double-doubles, 308 points (14.7 per game), 165 rebounds (7.9 per game), 28 steals and 114 made field goals this season. All are single-season career highs for the Swainsboro, Ga. native.
KSU currently sits fifth in the ASUN with a 6-4 conference record.
This is Kennesaw State's final season in the ASUN Conference before moving to Conference USA on July 1.
