CLEMSON, S.C. –
A few members of the Kennesaw State track and field teams competed at the Tiger Paw Invite on Friday.
 
Event Winner
  • Anthony Harrison landed a career-best toss of 21.63m (70'11.75") to win the weight throw. That mark ranks No. 16 in the NCAA this season.
 
Men's Top Performances
  • Jase Hunter had a personal-best toss of 20.68m (67'10.25") to take fifth place in the weight throw.
  • Kaelen Mitchell landed a leap of 7.27m (23'10.25") and Jeremiah Sims added a mark of 7.20m (23'7.25") to secure 13th and 15th in the long jump.
  • Jeremiah Sims finished 12th in the 60m hurdles with a season-best time of 7.86 seconds.
 
Women's Top Performances
  • Kali Terza recorded a mark of 19.53m (64'1") and Eriana Sanford had a toss of 18.45m (60'6.5") to grab fourth and eighth in the weight throw.
 
 
NASHVILLE, Tenn.  – Seven members of the Kennesaw State track and field teams were in action in the distance events at the Music City Challenge on Friday evening.
 
Men's Top Performances
  • Joseph Mines ran a time of 4:17.12 to place 73rd in the men's mile.
 
Women's Top Performances
  • Natalie Cummings posted a season-best time of 4:45.54 to finish ninth in the mile.
 
The Owls will finish action at the Tiger Paw Invite and Music City Challenge on Saturday (Feb. 10). KSU will also have 56 student-athletes competing in the Samford Open on Saturday.
