KENNESAW, Ga - Alabama State hosts the Kennesaw State women's tennis team this Friday. The Owls aim to secure their first win of the season as they have dominated ASU in series history, 9-1.

Alabama State is currently 1-3 in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) and is coming off a 5-2 win over West Alabama.

The Owls progressed into singles play gaining one win over the Eagles.
Sophia Unger took control on court four, taking the 7-5, 6-2 victory over Nanaka Kijima (GS). Kennesaw State fell short in the other matches leading Georgia Southern to a win.
