Opening Tee
KENNESAW, Ga. - The Kennesaw State women's golf team tees off its 2024 spring season Feb. 10 in Melbourne, Fla. at the Columbia Classic.
The fall consisted of steady performances for the Black and Gold as they never finished outside of the top 10 in their four events. It will be the first time in the
Erin Thorne era that the Owls have competed in this classic.
Thorne enters her third spring after impressing in year two with four all conference selections in '22-'23 (
Bella Kil,
Lara Jecnik,
Meva Schmit and
Cameron Neilson), the second-most in a single season in program history.
The Owls collected three golfer of the week awards with
Caitlyn Campbell-Nyman took it for her efforts in the Sam Golden Invitational and
Nyah Kelly racked up two in the only two tournaments she competed in.
The first and second rounds will start from hole 1 and hole 10 with a 8 a.m. start. The final round will start at 8:30 a.m with a shotgun start.
