Kennesaw, GA - The Kennesaw State women's tennis team travels to North Carolina for a pair of matches against Western Carolina and the University of North Carolina Asheville (UNCA). The Owls return to Kennesaw Sunday, Feb. 25 to take on Presbyterian for their first home match of the season.

Friday's match against Western Carolina will be the 7th match between the two teams. The last time out, the Owls defeated the Catamounts 6-1 in the 2022-23 season. Kennesaw State currently leads the all-time series, 4-2.

The Kennesaw State women's tennis team traveled to Hoover, Ala. on Friday (Feb. 16) to take on UAB. The Owls fought hard but the Blazers walked away with a 5-2 victory.

Taylor Dean had a strong performance in the doubles competition defeating Vanessa Mellynchuk and Mackenzie White, 6-3.

There were also other strong performances in singles play, as the Owls secured two points.
Sofia Madrid [KSU] dominated Sydney Clarke [UAB] on court three, 6-4, 6-1.
Izabelle Persson [KSUW] followed behind, claiming the 7-6, 3-6, 6-4 win over Annalisa Smith [UAB].
