KENNESAW, Ga. – In an effort to enhance capabilities across units, Kennesaw State Athletics has announced the following title and position changes to best fit its sales and service needs now and in the future. Shawn Betz and Armani Glover have assimilated into the Revenue Enhancement team, and Neil Teitelbaum has been elevated to Director of Ticket Operations.
"We're excited to have Shawn and Armani officially join our team as we begin our transition to Conference USA. Neil has proven to be a valuable team member and will serve a key role in growing our ticketing operations into the FBS era for KSU," said KSU Deputy Athletic Director Brad Ledford. "Throughout our move and beyond, our continued focus will be to provide KSU fans, season ticket holders, and Owl Fund members with the highest level of service possible while also deepening our community relationships. These moves will allow us to continue to grow in these areas and efforts."
Betz serves as the Director of Revenue Enhancement and Glover as an Assistant Director of Revenue Enhancement. Both are familiar names to Owl fans from their previous role through an outside partnership. Betz and Glover will continue to connect with fans regarding tickets, group sales, and other revenue generating initiatives. They will also hold responsibilities with The Owls Fund to further advance KSU Athletics annual fundraising operations.
Teitelbaum has been with KSU since 2019, and his promotion aids in ticketing operations and customer service functionalities with KSU's membership into Conference USA. The Owls will begin the 2024 season as FBS members.
"These changes will allow our external team to provide exceptional customer service to all KSU Athletics' constituents. We are excited to become a more flexible unit with greater capability to interact with our supporters on a personal level," said Rob Aycock, KSU's Senior Associate Athletic Director for Strategic Initiatives and Revenue Generation.
Over the past year, Betz, Glover, and Teitelbaum have worked with other external-focused staffers to double men's basketball season-ticket sales, record 12 of the top 15 attended men's basketball games, set the top-two attended games in KSU football history, and the highest season attendance figure in KSU baseball history.
