ATLANTA - Senior Lara Jecnik earned her first career Atlantic Sun Golfer of the Week after her top-10 performance at the Columbia Classic, the conference announced Thursday.
Jecnik was the team leader tying for 10th posting back-to-back even scores through the first two days and a three-over 219 total in Melbourne, Fla.
She tallied the lowest score of any ASUN Golfer this week along with the third highest finish (T-10th).
The field included: Eastern Kentucky, JMU, ODU, Penn State, Princeton, Seton Hall, St. Johns and Yale.
This season is now tied for the most since 2021 with four separate Golfer of the Week awards. Nyah Kelly has collected two, Caitlyn Campbell-Nyman and Jecnik.
The Black and Gold return to the course in the Rio Verde Invitational in Rio Verde, Ariz. Feb. 23-25.
