HUMACAO, PUERTO RICO. –
The Kennesaw State men's golf team finished third at the Palmas del Mar Collegiate after the final round of play at Palmas del Mar Golf Club Tuesday.

KSU posted a 4-under par round of 284 and finished at 19-under par 845 after 54 holes. The 19-under par 845 ranks tied for fifth in program history on a par-72 course. No. 8 Arkansas won the event at 27-under par 837.

"This was a very successful trip for us," head coach Bryant Odom said. "We ran alongside the No. 8 team in the country for three days. We also picked up wins over multiple power five schools and teams ahead of us in the rankings. Claes contended for an individual title and we only counted one score over par for the week (73). Everyone is encouraged on our trend. We look forward to a productive and restful break before Auburn's event."
