Round Three Results
MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Owls cemented a fourth-place finish in the Columbia Classic Monday afternoon in Melbourne, Fla after a team score of 302 on the final round.
Overall, Kennesaw State finished 26-over 890 as a team and solidified in fourth place with eight strokes in front of Dartmouth, the fifth-place finisher.
It's the second highest finish on the 2023-2024 season with the highest being a third-place finish in the Golfweek Red Sky Invitational in September.
It was an identical finish for three Owls with Lara Jecnik, Bella Kil and Alessandra Nagayo all ending the day with a three-over 75 score.
Scorecard:
Jecnik was the team leader finishing tied for 10th posting back-to-back even score through the first two days and a three-over 219 total.
Freshman
Sabrina Kim had a career best total score with 223, finishing second on the team and tied for 18
th in the 89-golfer field.
Three other Owls landed in the top 30 individually with
Nyah Kelly (24
th), Kil (T-25
th) and Nagayo (T-25
th).
Caitlyn Campbell-Nyman finished with a 235 total score and finished today with a 77 round total.
