Final Results
CLEMSON, S.C. – The Kennesaw State men's and women's track and field teams opened the 2024-25 indoor season at the Clemson Opener on Friday.
School Record
Event Winners
- Evan Martinez won the shot put with a mark of 17.05m (55'11.25").
- Kaelen Mitchell won the long jump with a leap of 7.44m (24'5").
- Eriana Sanford won the shot put with a mark of 14.09m (46'2.75").
- Jase Hunter landed a toss of 19.55m (64'1.75") to win the weight throw.
Men's Top Performances
- Andrew Dassler cleared the bar at 4.97m (16'3.5") and Zane Gibson got over at 4.72m (15'5.75") to finish second and third in the men's pole vault.
- Chance Cross (6.68), Ali Dargan (6.80) and Mohamed Diaby (6.84) all qualified for the 60m final. Cross's time ranks No. 2 in program history.
- Dargan ran 6.82 seconds to place fourth in the final of the 60m.
- Justin Warner (1:21.22) finished ninth in the 600m.
- Mohamed Diaby (7.88) and Cameron Guidano (8.00) finished sixth and seventh in the 60 hurdles final.
- Evan Martinez landed a toss of 17.57m (57'7.75") to take fourth in the shot put.
- Lloyd Hill finished second in the triple jump with a mark of 15.31m (50'2.75").
Women's Top Performances
- Silvana-Lopez Ramirez and Lilly Chounard finished eighth and ninth clearing the bar at 3.48m (11'5") in the pole vault. Ramirez finished eighth because she cleared the bar on fewer attempts.
- Eriana Sanford (19.14m | 62'1.5"), Maya Steines (17.59m | 57'8.5"), Mary Gill (17.36m | 56'11.5") and Hannah Judge (15.11m | 49'7") took home second, fourth, sixth and seventh in the weight throw.
- London White ran a time of 8.81 seconds to place seventh in the 60m hurdles final.
- Ciara Miles ran a time of 10:12.24 to finish second in the 3k.
