KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State softball, led by head coach Tripp MacKay as he enters his seventh season, has announced its 2025 schedule, marking the program's inaugural season in Conference USA.

Bailey Park will host 34 home games, including three non-conference tournaments. The Owls are set for a competitive slate, facing seven Power Four teams. Among these battles is a first-ever meeting against reigning Big Ten Conference Regular Season Champion Northwestern, who ended 2024 in the top 25 with a 35-win season and an appearance in the NCAA Austin Regional.

The Owls begin their campaign on the road with the NFCA Division I Leadoff Classic in Clearwater, Fla., from Feb. 7-9. Their opening game is against Wildcats followed by Iowa, Pittsburgh, Penn State, and Texas Tech. KSU will enter this tournament in search of its first wins against Iowa and Pittsburgh.

Kennesaw State's home opener is set for Feb. 12, when the Owls face Georgia Tech. KSU will also travel to Atlanta between tournaments on Feb. 25 to battle the Yellow Jackets.

The following weekend, from Feb. 14-16, they host the Kennesaw State Tournament, competing against Northern Kentucky, Morehead State, and Creighton. The Owls have a shot to close the gap and even the series record against Creighton.

On Feb. 18, the Owls travel to Atlanta again for a face-off against Georgia State before returning home for the I-75 Challenge from Feb. 21-23. This tournament features matchups against Memphis, Coastal Carolina, Georgia State, and Kentucky. This will be the Owls' first time facing Memphis.

The third and final Kennesaw State-hosted tournament runs Feb. 28 through March 2, with games against Rider, St. John's, St. Louis, and ETSU.

From March 7-9, the Owls head to Lynchburg, Va., for their first Conference USA series against former Atlantic Sun Conference foe Liberty.

After hosting West Georgia on March 12, KSU faces Florida International University at home in a weekend series from March 14-16. The Owls then hit the road for games against Chattanooga (March 18) and a three-game set versus Sam Houston (March 21-23) before traveling to Middle Tennessee from March 28-30.

The Owls return to Bailey Park on April 4-6 to host Western Kentucky and then travel to Mercer on April 9. Another road series follows at Jacksonville State from April 11-13. Sights are then set on Georgia State for the third time this season when they travel to Bailey Park on April 15.

The home schedule continues with a three-game series against Louisiana Tech from April 18-20 and a midweek game against Chattanooga on April 23. The Owls then travel to UTEP on April 25-27 before concluding the regular season at home against New Mexico State from May 2-4.

The 2025 CUSA Tournament is scheduled for May 7-10 in Bowling Green, Ky.
