Tournament Results
CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Kennesaw State men's tennis team completed fall tournament action at the College of Charleston Invitational over the weekend.
"It was great for Anthony and Sam to finish out the fall with a title," associate head coach
Simon Pritchard said. "I'm proud of how hard this team worked all semester. We will take a few days off now before we start looking to the spring"
In doubles action,
Anthony Weingarten and
Sam Baldwin won the 2 Doubles Draw with three wins. They opened with a pair of victories over pairs from Samford by scores of 6-2 and 7-6 (7-2). In the finals, they took down a pair from Presbyterian by a score of 6-4.
Hugo Salmeron and
Mikolaj Lis went 2-1 with victories of Samford (wd) and College of Charleston (7-5). They fell in a very close final on Sunday.
In singles action Lis, Baldwin and Salmeron each picked up a win.
The Owls will return to action in January to begin the dual match portion of the 2024-25 season.
