Play Suspended Due to Darkness at Cullan Brown Collegiate

LEXINGTON, Ky. – 
The Kennesaw State men's golf team opened play at the Cullan Brown Collegiate at Lexington Country Club on Monday.
 
The Owls shot an 11-over par round of 295 in the opening round. Play began in the second round and the Owls had finished 15-18 holes before it was suspended due to darkness. KSU was in first place at 16-over par when play was suspended. The second round is scheduled to resume at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8 with the final round beginning after the conclusion of round two.
 
Claes Borregaard and Shaun Cook are tied for 12th at 5-over par. They both shot rounds of 2-over par 73 in the opening round. Cook is 3-over through 17 and Borregaard is 3-over through 15 holes in their second rounds.
 
Kyle Bachkosky and Luca Galinganni are tied for 12th at 6-over par. Bachkosky carded low round of the day for KSU with an even-par round of 71 in round one. He posted a 6-over 77 in round two. Galinganni (78) is 1-under through 17 holes of his second round.
 
Hunter Gillard (79) is even-par through 16 holes and is tied for 30th at 8-over par.
 
Playing as an individual, Joshua Todd (74) is tied for 43rd. He is 7-over through 17 holes in round two.
 
The Owls will finish play at the Cullan Brown Collegiate on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 9 a.m.
