Final Results
MACON, Ga. – Five members of the Kennesaw State women's tennis team competed at the Mercer Gridiron Classic on Friday through Sunday.
In singles play,
Ema Baraniakova guided the Owls going 4-0 and winning the women's A1 East Draw. She won all four of her matches in straight sets over players from Georgia Southern, Georgia Sate and Florida Southern. She defeated Evelyn Warkentin of Georgia Southern by a score of 6-4, 6-2 in the final on Sunday.
Terezia Baraniakova reached the finals of the A2 East bracket after beating players from Georgia Southern, Florida Southern and Mercer.
Sophia Unger won a pair of three-set matches by scores of 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 and 3-6, 7-6 (7-5) -11-9 over players from South Alabama and Mercer.
The Owls dominated the A1 East Bracket as four members of the KSU teams played each other in the A1 East final. The pair of

Sofia Madrid picked up a 6-1 win over Mercer, a 7-6 (7-2) win over Georgia Southern and a 6-1 win over Mercer to reach the final. Izabelle Person and
Sophia Unger had a 6-2 win over Georgia Southern, a 6-4 victory over Mercer and a 6-0 win over Georgia Southern to secure a sport in the final. Baraniakova and Madrid won the final by a score of 6-3.

The Owls are back in action Oct. 10-Oct. 14 at the ITA Southeast Regional Tournament in Atlanta on the campus of Georgia Tech.
