ATLANTA – Outfielder
Stella Henry represented Kennesaw State Softball on the 2024 All-Atlantic Sun Preseason team, the conference announced Wednesday.
The Owls were selected fifth in the ASUN by the league's coaches receiving 87 votes.
Henry ended second on the team as a true freshman in batting average (.310), runs (22), hits (45) and on-base percentage (.367). First in all of these categories was fifth year senior
Taylor Cates.
In conference play, she led KSU in batting average at .408 with 29 hits. She led the way for the Owls in stolen bags with 16 in 18 attempts.
The honor already marked her second in the ASUN after she earned All-Conference second team in 2023. She ended the season on a tear maintaining an 18-game reached-base streak. It was the longest streak of the season for any Owl by eight games.
