KENNESAW, Ga. –
Anthony Harrison was named ASUN Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week for his performances at the Bob Pollock Invitational.
Harrison finished fourth in the hammer throw with a season-best toss of 20.96m (68' 9.25"). He finished ahead of athletes from Cincinnati, Wake Forest, BYU and Florida State in the event. That mark ranks tops in the ASUN and No. 30 in the NCAA this season. He also finished 12th in the shot put with a season-best mark of 16.34m (53' 7.5"). That mark ranks second in the ASUN this season.
Harrison and the Owls are back in action at the Doc Hale VT Elite Meet (Feb. 2-3) and the South Carolina Invitational (Feb.3).
